I am in my teens and I’ve had tinnitus for about 5 years. Mine is a high pitched ringing noise and it’s gotten louder since the past week. I don’t take medication and my music stays at pretty much the same level, not too high. Is it possible for it to get quieter again? The last time I went to an ear doctor they told me I couldn’t do anything about it but they didn’t really asses me. Should I try a different doctor then? It never used to be this loud…

Ok so my doctor diagnosed me with severe tinnitus could this cause me to go deaf? I so scared that I will get really bad hearing!

Or something I can do to relieve the ringing? I’ve had ringing in my years since I was 11 (I’m 27) and it has gotten worse. I’m honestly to the point where I would consider removal of ear drums in both ears if that would cure it.. It’s just terrible.Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

=/ need answers please..I heard cortisone shots and surgery are a last resort..the ringing is pretty loud for me =/
